You don't necessarily need to be a data scientist building LLMs, but you must understand how to implement "Retrieval-Augmented Generation" (RAG) solutions for network troubleshooting. Focus on Python, NetConf/RestConf, and understanding how Cisco’s AI agents automate Day-2 operations.

Don't ignore the "Security" aspect of AI. Cisco is hiring heavily for "AI Defense" roles. Understanding how to protect AI models and data within the network is a massive trending keyword right now.
