All answers to this question.
The death of the cookie was actually a blessing in disguise for my agency. My biggest challenge in my career journey was moving away from intrusive tracking toward 'permission-based' marketing. We now focus on value-exchange: if a customer gives us their data, they get exclusive content or early access in return. This builds a much stronger, more loyal relationship than tracking them across the web ever did. We use CRM tools to segment this first-party data, allowing for hyper-personalization that the customer actually consented to and expects from our brand.

Is it difficult to convince customers to share their data initially without an established brand reputation?

It requires radical transparency, Dennis. We tell them exactly what we will use the data for and provide an easy 'opt-out' at any time. When you treat the user with respect, they are much more likely to trust you with their information. Our conversion rates for 'known' users are 3x higher than for anonymous visitors.

Short-form video content has been our best way to gather first-party data. Interactive polls and 'swipe-up' features capture preferences without feeling like an interrogation.

This is exactly what I’ve observed. Interactive content is a win-win. When I faced similar challenges in my career journey, shifting to engagement-led data collection was a game-changer.
