How is Generative AI actually changing the daily workflow for Scrum Masters in 2024?

I’ve been experimenting with GenAI for about six months now. The biggest win for my team has been using it to draft initial User Stories and Acceptance Criteria based on messy meeting notes. It saves me about 4 hours of documentation per sprint. However, you must be careful—AI tends to hallucinate technical constraints it doesn't understand. I use it as a "First Draft" partner, then we refine it as a team. It hasn't replaced our conversations; it has just made them more focused because we aren't starting from a blank page.

• Christopher, I actually found the opposite happened. Because the "boring" part of writing is done, the developers spend more time debating the logic and the "Definition of Done." As long as the team reviews and edits the AI output together, the ownership stays high. It’s all about how you facilitate the session.

We use AI to analyze our retrospective sentiment. We feed it anonymous feedback and it identifies patterns we might have missed, like recurring bottlenecks in the QA phase.
