How do I choose between AWS, Azure, and GCP for enterprise-level cloud computing solutions?

Selecting a provider for <cloud computing> should depend on your current technical debt and future scaling goals. If your team is heavily invested in .NET and Active Directory, Azure offers seamless integration that can reduce the learning curve significantly. However, AWS remains the leader in terms of pure service variety and global infrastructure reach. For data-heavy workloads, GCP often wins on pricing and BigQuery’s performance. I recommend running a Proof of Concept (PoC) on all three to compare the egress costs, as those hidden fees are usually what blow the budget during a large-scale migration.

• Jeffrey, we are in the healthcare sector, so HIPAA compliance is non-negotiable for us. All three claim to be compliant, but I’ve heard that AWS has more mature managed services for healthcare data. Do you think the shared responsibility model in is easier to manage on one platform over the others, or is the administrative overhead roughly the same across the board?

We actually use a Multi-Cloud approach to avoid vendor lock-in. It makes our <cloud computing> architecture more resilient but definitely adds complexity to the management layer.

• I agree with Cynthia. While Multi-Cloud is complex, it gives you incredible leverage during contract renewals. Just make sure your team is skilled in Terraform to manage it!
