Which Project Management software is best for remote teams using a Hybrid approach?

For a truly hybrid environment, Jira with the "Advanced Roadmaps" feature is hard to beat. It allows the development team to stay in their tickets and sprints while pulling that data into a high-level Gantt chart for your executives. Monday.com is also very visual and user-friendly, but Jira’s integration with dev tools like GitHub makes it superior for software teams. The learning curve is steeper, but the reporting capabilities for both Agile and Waterfall metrics are much more robust than Asana's simplified interface.

Have you considered how much time your team can spend on "tool maintenance"? Some of these platforms require a dedicated admin just to keep the workflows running correctly.

• You're right about the overhead, Richard. To answer your concern, we are looking for something with "out-of-the-box" templates to minimize setup. We want to spend our time managing projects, not managing the software itself.

I prefer Monday.com for hybrid work. Its "Dashboards" can pull from multiple boards, making it easy to see Waterfall milestones and Agile tasks in one single view.

• I second Donna’s recommendation. The automation features in Monday saved our team hours of manual status updates. It’s very intuitive for non-technical stakeholders to use as well.
