Which AI tools are best for automating repetitive digital marketing tasks?

I’m looking to streamline our digital marketing workflow. Specifically, I need to automate social media captions, basic image resizing, and keyword clustering for our SEO blogs. We are a small team and spending too much time on these repetitive tasks. Are there specific AI platforms that integrate well together to handle this end-to-end without a massive budget?

All answers to this question.

For a small team budget, I highly recommend looking into Canva’s Magic Studio and Jasper AI. Jasper is fantastic for brand-voice consistent captions and can even generate SEO-optimized blog outlines. For the imagery, Canva’s bulk create and AI resizer are lifesavers. If you want to go deeper into SEO, Surfer SEO’s integration with Jasper allows you to cluster keywords and write content in one go. This combination helped my agency reduce content turnaround time by nearly 60% last year while keeping our overhead low and our quality scores high.

Deborah, that’s a solid list, but have you looked into the API costs for some of these integrations lately? I’m curious if you’ve found a way to use Make.com or similar tools to tie these together more cheaply. It seems like the "all-in-one" platforms eventually get quite expensive as you scale the number of seats or the amount of content generated per month.

  • Charles, you're right about the seat costs. I actually switched to using a custom GPT through OpenAI's API paired with Make.com for our bulk processing. It’s much cheaper than paying for a Pro Jasper account for every intern. We feed the SEO data into a Google Sheet, and Make triggers the AI to write the captions and save them back to the sheet. It takes a little more technical setup initially, but the long-term ROI is much better for a growing team.

We use Copy.ai for the captions and it's been great for keeping our tone consistent. It even suggests hashtags based on the image description we provide.

  • I totally agree! Copy.ai’s "Workflows" feature is underrated. It can take a single URL and turn it into a blog, five social posts, and an email newsletter in seconds.
