In the world of Software Development and Cloud, we are seeing a massive shift toward "AI-augmented" coding. AI isn't replacing the developer; it’s replacing the "boilerplate" coding part of the job. By late 2024, the focus has moved heavily toward architecture and ensuring the  integrity of the systems we build. If you can leverage these tools to move faster, your value goes up. The only people truly at risk are those who refuse to adapt to the new automated workflows and insist on doing everything manually.

• Exactly, Rebecca! That is why Cyber Security is one of the few fields where AI is creating a massive surplus of jobs. For every AI tool that writes code, we need a specialist to ensure that code doesn't have "hallucinated" security flaws. We are seeing a shift where "Security Analysts" are becoming "AI Security Auditors." It’s a perfect example of a role changing and expanding rather than being replaced by a machine.

It's definitely a change in roles. I’ve seen more job postings for "AI Strategists" than I have seen layoffs for traditional marketing roles lately.
