How is AI transforming social media content creation and SMM strategy in 2024?
With ChatGPT and Midjourney becoming mainstream, the volume of content is exploding. I'm worried about "content fatigue." How are you using generative AI to assist your SMM workflow without losing the human touch or getting penalized by search engines for AI-generated spam? Is there a middle ground for high-volume posting?

All answers to this question.
We use AI primarily for the "blank page" problem. It’s great for generating 50 variations of a headline or brainstorming hooks for a YouTube Short. However, we never post raw AI output. A human editor always adds brand-specific anecdotes and ensures the tone matches our voice. The goal is "AI-assisted," not "AI-automated." If you let a bot do everything, your engagement will tank because users can sense the lack of personality from a mile away.

Are you concerned about the legalities of AI-generated images for commercial ads, or are you sticking strictly to text-based AI assistance for now?

Richard, we are staying cautious. We use AI for background extensions or color grading, but we avoid full AI-generated faces to prevent potential copyright or deepfake issues that could damage our brand reputation.

AI is best for data crunching. We use it to analyze thousands of customer comments to find recurring pain points, which then informs our human-written content.

That’s a brilliant way to use it, Susan. Turning qualitative data into a content calendar is exactly where AI shines brightest.
